JUNIOR INTERIOR DESIGNER
About the role
We currently have a vacant position for an interior designer. The role involves working on the current and future projects of the company, concerning the conceptualising phase to the execution and delivering of projects on-site. The skillset for this role involves graphic design, sketching, technical drawings, moodboard production, selection of finishes and materials, clear communication and team working skills. You must be able to tell stories and conceptualise ideas and projects when briefing and delivering to clients.
You must be able to work in multiple software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator and Indesign), 3d modelling softwares (Rhino, Keyshot and 3DSMax).
Responsibilities & tasks
Assisting the design directors with design concepts proposals
Assisting with e-commerce sales and management;
Managing clients and suppliers;
Producing accurate CAD plans and elevations: room layouts, finishes, light and power;
Producing rendered drawings for presentation;
Producing digital design presentations using Adobe InDesign/PowerPoint;
Assisting with the development of material palettes;
Producing and coordinating schedules for FF&E and various interior schedules;
Managing the purchase and manufacture of detailed bespoke furniture and lighting pieces;
Ensuring all FF&E related deliveries are on site when scheduled;
Liaising with suppliers and subcontractors;
Establishing new and maintaining existing relationships with manufacturers and suppliers;
Following-up orders and manage clients;
Working confidently in multiple softwares such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator and Indesign), 3d modelling softwares (Rhino, Keyshot and 3DSMax);
Proficiency in spoken and written english;
