Silo Studio

Silo Studio is a London based collaboration between designers Attua Aparicio Torinos and Oscar Lessing. They began working together while studying on the Design Products course at the Royal College of Art in London, graduating in 2011. Coming from engineering and design backgrounds respectively, their approach is to challenge both the use and perception of materials. Their work is characterised by the fact that the process in made evident in the final piece. They have a particularly hand-on approach to design: embracing the idea of learning through making and seeking to re-imagine the possibilities of production. For HAY, they have designed the Tela Glass collection.
